Hello everyone! In the last entry I talked about Fight ‘N Rage, a classic style 2D Beat ‘Em Up game inspired in some of the classics of a genre that was once among one of the most popular genres in the industry, and in this new entry I’m going to talk about yet another game that belongs to that very same genre. In fact, this game actually belongs to one of the “founding fathers” of the genre together with the Kunio-kun series, of which return I already talked about in this blog. Yup, as many of you already probably guess, I’m talking about the legendary Double Dragon. Let’s see what the return of one of the most popular games of the last century has to offer in its return in the 21st century.

En la última entrada os hablé de Fight ´N Rage, un Beat ´Em Up en 2D de corte clásico inspirado en los grandes clásicos de un género que una vez fue uno de los más populares de la industria, y en esta entrada os traigo otro juego que pertenece a dicho género. De hecho, estamos hablado de uno los padres fundadores del género junto a la serie Kunio-Kun, de cuyo retorno ya hablé en este blog algunas entradas atrás. En efecto, como algunos ya habréis podido adivinar me estoy refiriendo al mítico Double Dragon. Veamos qué nos ofrece el retorno en pleno siglo XXI de uno de los grandes de finales del siglo pasado.

In the last entry I talked about several retro style games that belong to the recent wave of “neoclassical” games that have been taking the download services by storm in the recent years, and in this new entry I bring you yet another title that belongs to the same movement and that reaffirms that this recent “thing for the retro” it´s definitely far from being a fashion fueled by all those “nostalgia fighters” out there.
