Hello everyone! In the last entry I talked about Battle Chasers Nightwar, an indie game inspired by the classic RPG games, and in this new entry I´m going to talk about another low budget game, although opposite to what we saw in Battle Chasers, with its conservative style, the game I´m going to talk about offers a new and refreshing experience on such a classic and popular (and rather exploited) genre like the Survival Horror genre. The game is called Yomawari: Midnight Shadows. Let see what this little Japanese gaming jewel has to offer.

En la última entrada os hablé de Battle Chasers Nightwar, un juego indi inspirado en los juegos de rol clásicos, y en esta nueva entrada hablaré de otro juego de bajo presupuesto, aunque al contrario del mencionado Battle Chasers, con su estilo más conservador, el juego que os traigo en esta entrada nos ofrece una propuesta original dentro de un género tan clásico como popular (y explotado) como es el género del Survival Horror. El juego en cuestión se llama Yomawari: Midnight Shadows. Veamos qué nos ofrece esta pequeña joya minimalista nipona.

Hello everyone! Boy time surely flies… It seems it was just yesterday when the new year started, and we are already all the way into February… Anyway, for the first (rather late) entry of this new year I bring you a shot of pure “neoretro” gaming. The game is called Battle Chasers Nightwar. Have you ever wonder how it would be to mix the dungeons and looting of Diablo with the turn-based combats of traditional JRPG games? Es increíble lo rápido que pasa el tiempo… Parece que fue justo ayer cuando estaba celebrado la entrada del nuevo año, y ya estamos en febrero… En fin , para la primera entrada de este nuevo año os traigo un chute de “neoretro” del bueno. El juego es cuestión se llama Battle Chasers Nightwar. ¿Alguna vez habías querido jugar un juego que combinase las mazmorras y el looteo de Diablo con los combates por tunos de los juegos de rol japoneses tradicionales?
